Day 1: Cape Town (ARRIVAL DAY)

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, meet & greet by our representative and transfer to your hotel .Check in and freshen up. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 2: Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for Private Full Day Cape Peninsula (Also known as Cape Point tour) – This full-day Peninsula Tour will take you around the entire Cape peninsula and show you the wonders of Cape Town – from the pristine beaches, to the spectacular sight of Cape Point, where the oceans meet. Your tour starts with a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard. Travel via Sea Point and Camps Bay to the fishing village of Hout Bay for an exhilarating boat trip to Seal Island (weather permitting).

Continue to Cape Point through Chapman’s peak (if open), where the romantic notion that this is where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet draws thousands of visitors every year. The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is recognized globally for its spectacular beauty, rich biodiversity, animal and bird life, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant before moving on to the historic naval base of Simon’s Town. This is a village rich in history and character, with its penguin and seal colonies, fishing and bird life, and quaint architecture. Drive back to Cape Town along the coastline passing many seaside towns.Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 3: Cape Town

Transfer to Aquila Game Reserve- Situated in the historic town of Touws River, in a valley between the Langeberg and the Outeniqua Mountains in the Karoo, the 10,000 hectare conservancy has evolved from its early days of being residence to various antelope species only to becoming the home of the Big 5 – elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard – as well as a significant amount of other wild game, which roam freely on the reserve. Upon arrival, Check in and relax. Proceed for a Game drive

Day 4: Cape Town

Transfer back to Cape Town

Proceed for Private Half Day Cape Town City tour & Table Mountain tour – A comprehensive city orientation tour starting with a trip up Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting). The state-of-the-art cable car rotates 360 degrees on its way to the top, offering a panoramic view. At the summit are short walks to enjoy the magnificent vistas. Other highlights include a brief tour of the Malay Quarter, city center, Company Gardens, Castle of Good Hope (time permitting) and Diamond Works. You will then travel to Milnerton Lighthouse for an opportunity to photograph Table Mountain from across Table Bay (time permitting). Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 5: Cape Town – Johannesburg

Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Johannesburg, Upon arrival, En-route Johannesburg City Tour: Highlights of this tour include drive by sighting of the Nelson Mandela Bridge, Gandhi Square , Constitution Hill and Nelson Mandela Square venues visits are time permitted

Day 6: Johannesburg

Proceed for Half day Pretoria City Tour- main highlights – Union Buildings, Paul Kruger House Museum, Voortrekker Monument. Church Square Embark on a 3.5-hour tour of Pretoria, Capital of the ZAR, the Union of South Africa, the Republic of South Africa and the new South Africa. One of your stops is at the Union Building, home to the president’s office, from where you can delight in a panoramic view of the Jacaranda City. Visit The Voortrekker Monument, Church Square and Paul Kruger Statue, Union Buildings and Nelson Mandela Statue the Kruger House or Melrose House. Also, drive by Kruger House or Melrose House, Freedom Park, Pretoria City Hall, Museum of Natural History, Pretoria Train Station, Gautrain Pretoria Station, the old and the new South African Reserve Bank.

Later proceed for SOWETO Tour – On this tour, your guide who was born and raised in Soweto, will take you past all the hotspots in Soweto. The tour will take you deep into the township culture, so you can enjoy a personal experience of how vibrant and lively this part of Johannesburg really is. On our way to Soweto we pass by the National Football Stadium City, which hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup 2010. We enter the Diepkloof area, where we will take a walk past vendors selling just about anything. In Orlando West we visit Vilakazi Street- drive past the former home of Nelson Mandela and past the home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. You will have an opportunity to read about the Soweto uprising on 16 June 1976. On that tragic day an innocent little boy called Hector Pieterson gave up his life and kick-started the liberation of South Africa. During this tour we will pass by the Mandela House. A visit into the museum is optional. We continue our tour driving into one of the shanty towns where you get to interact with some of the locals. By now you will have seen the good, the bad and the ugly facets of Soweto. We drive past the Soweto Campus of the Johannesburg University and end our tour with a stop at the largest hospital in the world: Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

Day 7: Johannesburg (DEPARTURE)

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and Private Transfer from the hotel to Johannesburg Airport for your return flight. Board your flight and fly back home.
